Shadow Fairy

This little quilt was accepted in “Fantasy” the Grand National Quilt show in 2007, and won a prize for trompe l’oeil work. I imagined being in the garden shed and looking out on an old sunlit brick wall, where a branch of bougainvillea was fluttering, disturbed by the small fairy.
